Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most famous role was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. Her studies in theatre was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago, working in theatre parts for a number of years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in movies and television shows. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood are also a part of her acting career. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day.
